BASKETBALL
Our “Eastern Iowa Outlawz” is a Division III team playing competitive and recreational. We have participated in the National Wheelchair Basketball Association (NWBA). Season starts in the Fall and ends in early Spring. Wheelchair basketball has been in the Quad City area since 1972. The “Rough Rider’s” was our original name.

Lacrosse
Our “Iowa Crop Dusters” wheelchair lacrosse team plays competitively and recreationally. Practices are held at the QC Veterans Outreach Center. We are looking for additional athletes! Equipment and wheelchairs are provided. The program was established in 2025.

TENNIS
Our wheelchair tennis has been in existence since 2012. In 2014 we began our annual wheelchair tennis tournament with local players and players from throughout the region. Our tournament is the only sanctioned wheelchair tennis tournament in the state of Iowa. We have an adult wheelchair tennis program and league play with DesMoines, IA, team. We host a junior wheelchair tennis clinic each year. During the off season we play indoors at the QC Moline Tennis Club, Moline, IL. Spring and Summer months are played outdoors at local tennis courts throughout the Quad City area.

SOFTBALL
Our softball program is currently in the recreational stage. We will be playing during the summer in the city of Davenport, Iowa. Our new miracle field is located on the northwest corner of 53rd Street and Eastern Avenue, in the ball field area of Southeast Little League.

Local Road Racing
We also participate in local road races. Participants use their own personal chair, sport chair, hand cycle or free wheel. This is a great way to meet others and compete against one another or participate for fun.

OTHER ACTIVITIES
As we continue to grow, we are additionally playing pickleball, bocce ball, football, weightlifting or any other adaptive sport we can think of to get people together and enjoy each other’s company.
